About Child Fares

Child fares are half of adult fares. Fare fractions are rounded up in units of \10.
Up to 2 toddlers ride free when accompanied by 1 passenger of elementary school age or older. The 3rd toddler and thereafter must pay the child fare.

Infant
(Under age 1)		 Free
Toddler
  • Toddlers ride free if a single passenger accompanies 2 toddlers, age 1 or older but under age 6.
  • If accompanying 3 toddlers, you must pay for 1 child fare.
  • If 1 toddler rides alone, he/she must pay for 1 child fare.
  • If 2 toddlers ride alone, they must pay for 2 child fares.
Child
  • Child fare for children age 6 or older but under age 13.
  • If a child accompanies 2 toddlers, he/she must pay for 1 child fare (toddlers ride free).
  • If a child accompanies 3 toddlers, he/she must pay for 1 child fare + 1 child fare.
